Movie Organization ; Part 1

Standard

We have what some may call, a RIDICULOUS number of movies! But, we love movies (who doesn’t?), and we figure that sometime, it’s just worth owning the best ones!

Recently I decided that owning as many movies as we do can sometimes be annoying, only because the DVD cases take up SO much room. Yes they are slim and narrow, but when you have HUNDREDS of them stacked, it takes up quite a bit of space, Space that could be used for something better…like CRAFTS

So I set out to re organize. Starting with, the Children’s Movies!

Something like 105 Disney/Children’s Movies that have lined one of the shelves in our playroom for months, taking up space I would rather use for  crafts/toys/activities.

I call that crazy!!

So to allow for more room……

I packed them ALL into these two boxes….!!

Wanna see how??

SIMPLE FIX!!

I placed each movie into a DVD/CD sleeve…and then….

…placed them alphabetically into thee two boxes.

As we add new movies to our collection, we will just slide them into the appropriate slot in the box.

And to keep up with what we have…

..I typed up an Alpabetical list of all the movies we have, which will be added to our Family Binder!

DONE!!

Now I need to tackle the Holiday movies, and the other movie collection we have!

Muffin Tin Monday!

Standard

Earlier this year, I found these neat little ideas called Muffin Tin Monday’s!

Lots of mom’s all over the country participate and make cute little lunches/breakfasts, dinners, or snacks using a Muffin Tin!

The idea is to be Creative, maybe try something new, and have FUN!

Kennady was born in April and the time leading up to her birth was sort of crazy, so we didn’t get our start with MTM’s until June.

End of May, I made list and gathered supplies and the VERY FIRST Monday of June, we had our first Muffin Tin Meal!

Since then, we have participated EVERY Monday and plan to continue as long as possible!

The kids LOVE it!

So here are the Muffin Tin Meals we have enjoyed So far!!! Enjoy!!
